Special thanks to Anita Will for sending in the photos and a little history about Whipple Creek Park.

Water wheels have been around since ancient classical times, generating power to drive a millstone or create energy. In the midst of these conservationist times, I have developed a fascination, a dream, to some day own a piece of land with a river running through it and build a self sustaining paradise. These pictures will be the inspiration, influence, and concepts for my future water wheel project. The project will encompass European old world architecture and generate electricity.

I love these pics and all the others in your photo gallery. I build water wheel for people and still have a never ending fascination of the beauty, the strength, and mechanical abilities all in one.
